Storage Box
E-Flute
B-Flute

Storage box printing using E-flute and B-flute corrugated cardboard has several disadvantages. The production process is resource-intensive, involving significant amounts of paper and adhesive, contributing to deforestation and pollution. The initial costs for high-quality printing and durable materials can be high, especially for custom designs and small print runs. Managing inventory and storage of these boxes can be cumbersome, requiring significant space and leading to potential waste if overproduced. Additionally, ensuring consistent print quality on the textured surfaces of E-flute and B-flute can be challenging, resulting in potential defects. Furthermore, rapidly changing packaging trends can quickly render designs outdated, affecting their marketability.

Flute Selection

E flute and B flute are types of corrugated cardboard suited for different uses. E flute, about 1.1mm thick with 90 flutes per foot, is compact and ideal for high-quality printing on retail packaging and displays. B flute, around 3.2mm thick with 47 flutes per foot, is more robust, offering better stacking strength and protection for heavier items during shipping. E flute excels in printability and flexibility, while B flute is preferred for its superior durability and structural integrity.

Why using Flute?

E flute and B flute corrugated cardboard are used for different purposes due to their distinct properties. E flute, with its smooth surface and thin profile, is ideal for high-quality printing, making it perfect for retail packaging, point-of-purchase displays, and detailed die-cut designs for smaller, lighter items. Its lightweight and flexibility reduce shipping costs and enable intricate packaging designs. In contrast, B flute, with its thicker profile, offers superior stacking strength, compression resistance, and cushioning, making it suitable for packaging heavier items that require robust protection. Its structural integrity is ideal for shipping boxes and storage containers where durability is crucial.
